I like stylistic similarities in different types of media and for some reason noticing similarities in themes, outfits, characters, etc. excites me. Today, while watching Peggy Sue Got Married (again), I noticed that Peggy Sue, played by Kathleen Turner, looks a little like Glinda the Good Witch from The Wizard of Oz when she is at her high school reunion. Similarly, Sheryl Lee in Wild at Heart looks like Glinda the Good Witch as well. Also, like Peggy Sue Got Married, Wild at Heart also stars Nicolas Cage (who I am sure at one time or another has seen The Wizard of Oz).
