In a celebration of sorts for the holiday season, my family and I took a trip out to Joshua Tree on Monday. We woke up at 8 and headed out of the city while it seemed like every was still sleeping off their Christmas activities. We got lunch along the road and set up a little picnic in the park before heading off to do a little hike. It was amazing seeing so much clear blue sky after being in the city for so long. When I was younger I would go out to the desert with my family all the time. Recently this has been harder and harder to keep up, so I was very glad that we got to go out there. These are my pictures from the hike as well as one at the end from Two Bunch Palms where we stopped for the night.
