This marvelously colored, wonderfully ornate building is the New City nightclub in Tokyo. The project was taken on by Tiffany Dahl and Virginia Melnick, students of the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, and led by professor Ali Rahim. Influence for the aesthetic ranges from Japanese youth culture, particularly the look of current Japanese fashions, to food.
