Someone Else's Memories

It seems fairly obvious to me that time is not quite as linear as clocks would like us to believe. In my life I have experienced a steady pattern of time compressing and expanding. There are always those moments when you pick up your head and all of those moments of rest have disappeared, only to be replaced by obligations. Don't get me wrong, I have no gripes with leading a full life. It is more that I wish to take note of these moments, as they are the ones that remind me to savor all of my experiences. It also gives me a love of the photographs of others that put you in a moment. They defy time in a much more deliberate way, allowing me to enter a scene in a time for which I can create the context.
