The Lincoln Center always reminds me that I don't go uptown enough. I really love all of the spaces and architecture and all of the photographic opportunities they present. So much concrete and geometry, so many precisely delineated spaces, it is my ideal setting in which to take pictures. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to get pictures of the outside as we rushed in to see the shows, fortunately that gives us an opportunity to head up there at a later date.
One of the advantages of heading in quickly was that we were some of the first people in line to get into the BCBG and Herve Leger presentation. The images above are from BCBG, where we got to see the space transform from empty to packed. Of course, we also had to take the opportunity to snap a pic of all of the photographers getting in place to shoot the event. Its kind of mesmerizing seeing the tangle of lenses, monopods, flashes, and the occasional person.
