Silence is so Accurate - Photos by Mikel Aramendia

Another trip to Vermont, another post of big areas free of people. It seems like every time we come out here I do another one of these posts, but the difference of space is so present in my mind. I suppose it really is a sign of just how much your surroundings have an effect on your psyche. These photos are from Spanish photographer Mikel Aramendia. After looking through his photographs, I saw on his profile the Mark Rothko quote, "Silence is so accurate". I loved that little bit first because I love the work of Rothko, second because it is so fitting of both the work of Rothko and Aramendia, and third because I find it to be very true.
