This is how I feel whenever I get off the train. This image was taken soon after we got into Vermont. After leaving the train station, we headed over to Church Street, where I took this long exposure. I like the hazy feel that it captures.
We stayed in the room at the top of Mariel's house again. I love the light it gets, and I've photographed in it more than a couple times. Unfortunately early in our trip a full length mirror fell off of the back of the door to the room. On the upside, the reflection of the broken pieces on the roof made for some interesting images.
We skirted the festivities happening on Church Street on St. Patrick's day. The drunken mele has never really been Mariel's scene, nor mine really. We did get a picture of this man playing the bag pipe in a kilt though.
The weather was nice, so we could leave the doors to the deck open while we were out for the dogs to get a little more fresh air. One of the pleasant upsides to this was that whenever we got back to the house, we would be greeted by Axel and Bambi sticking their heads through the railing.
