Space is just... cool. What lies beyond our day to day world, visible yet entirely unreachable is so enticing. Spacey backgrounds are often employed in throughout the images that circulate on tumblr, pintrest, found, etc. and for good reason. There is an abstract beauty to be found in the almost supernatural forms that form the ghostly patterns we see in our sky. Of course, if space is cool, those whose explore it must be pretty cool too. I mean, especially if they're doing it with aesthetically pleasing, modern looking, technology. I got pretty excited when I found out via ISO50 that NASA had a flickr account. These are a few of my favorites. If you have a second, read their profile information, its pretty amazing that access to something like this is as available as it is.
