Into Miu Miu Star Print

Ever since stars started appearing on garments I have been into them (remember the Chanel SS2008 collection). As a side note: I am not talking about the stars from American flag motifs. I had not really seen that many star printed garments until I was in Acne over the summer with my Father and he bought a black tie with little white stars on it. From that point on I have been into star prints (officially).

When I found a black dress with white stars on it at H&M in the fall, similar to the tie that my Dad had bought, I was extremely excited and I figured that my star print obsession was over for the most part. However, after seeing this pair of red star printed jeans from Miu Miu I am realizing that I am not over it yet. The jeans are my favorite, but I would wear a whole star printed outfit from Miu Miu (pictured above) if I could. I made the picture for you so you could get a sense of how great it would be.

If you do not believe me, try it for yourself (and then send me a picture so I can tell you how badly I want to be your best friend and how great you look)! Bottom / Top / Jacket: Miu Miu //

Miu Miu Stores at Night

Miu Miu stores remind me of doll houses and I think there is something so strange and whimsical about looking inside of one when it is closed. It is like looking into a doll house that you cannot play with and inside it is filled with beautiful things. If you live near one and you haven't looked in at night when it is closed then you are missing out, there is so much inspiration! Hugs!

I'd like to be wearing

Mariel Bennett and Jordan Romanoff @ Dress Me Mag
Do not ask my why, I know it is not the most weather appropriate look but currently I would like to be wearing this. The color pallet and mixtures of fabrics and textures looks cozy. Perfect for the train ride that Jordan and I are currently on. The CALYPSO St. Barth vest is kind of random seeming, but like I said before the weather is cold and apparently snowy so the outfit kind of calls for a jacket with more substance than this one from Alexander Wang. The vest seemed to be the only solution. I know the shoes, also from Alexander Wang, are not exactly snow proof either but I balanced that out with the fur cuff from Wendy Nichol and cashmere bottoms from Vince. It is fashion math. The top is from Miu Miu and the bag is from Prada.

Ingerid Maske

While walking into Soho yesterday Jordan and I spotted Norwegian model Ingerid Maske in NoLita looking so effortlessly chic in that way that only models can look. She was so sweet and she was kind enough to let us take her picture.
Back to that effortlessly chic look, she has it more than down. Ankle boots from Acne, check! Distressed jeans, check! Oversized pocketed blouse tucked in only in the front, check! A completely chic bag (I am kind of in love with her snakeskin Miu Miu shoulder bag with silver hardware, sooo chic! ), check! Hair tied into a perfectly messy in-all-the-right-ways bun, check! It looks so easy but I do not think I could pull it off, maybe you can try and tell me how it goes! Later!

I actually finished a Polyvore set

I am not sure why but I never seem to be able to finish a set on Polyvore. Maybe it is because of my short attention span, or the fact that I am never able to find the garments that I want to use, or maybe it is a mixture of both, I am not sure. When I finally did complete one (I took a day long break) I felt a little accomplished. Here is my look! Later!
