New In: White Sneakers

T-Shirt: Acne // Top: BCBG MAXAZRIA // Bottoms: Current/Elliott // Shoes: Gourmet // Jacket: Mine // Sunglasses: Ray Ban //

After having realized quite sometime ago (last April) that the pair of white leather sneakers that I had bought were actually two different shades of white (one shade was called something like 'Aspen' the other shade was called something like 'Winter'), I began to feel self conscious about wearing them. The difference in color was only noticeable to me but for some reason I found it extremely upsetting and wearing the shoes became kind of a task.

Last week, while we were visiting home, I picked up a pair of new white sneakers at a store downtown, this time in canvas rather than leather. Later that day Jordan took an outfit pic for me before we went back downtown (I do not know why my garage looks like it is about to fall over). Now we are back in the city enjoying the very out of season warm weather.

Miss you, love you, mean it later!

New In: Lancôme Powder Foundation & Mascara

I know it's a little late in the season to be picking up essentials like powder foundation for dry winter months but better late then never right? New in: Lancôme's 'Dual Finish' Versatile Powder Makeup and Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara.

•I like the powder foundation a lot because it can be used with either a wet sponge or a dry puff, which allows for a variety of options in terms of how much coverage you want.

•The mascara works well because of the wand, which is round at the base and gets thinner as it reaches the top. It really does give you doll like lashes.

I recommend trying either of these products if you are looking for a new mascara or powder foundation.

New In: Acne Dress

My new dress from Acne made it all the way from Sweden safely! So exciting. It isn't a waffle knit but I am going to see which waffle knit(s) looks best with it. While I am doing that I am going to pretend that there is snow in NYC like there is in Sweden. What is the point of the cold weather without the snow? Hugs!

New In: BCBG MAXAZRIA Waffle Knit Pt. II

Yesterday Jordan and I stopped into the BCBG MAXAZRIA store in SoHo, which was a dangerous move seeing as they still have their sale going on. While we were there, for some reason I kept being drawn back to all of the sweaters no matter how far away from them in the store that I went (I even went to a different floor). To be more specific, I kept being drawn back to the waffle knit that I recently got, the only difference being that I kept going back to the tan version. While I was in the store, contemplating waffle knits, I began to do some fashion math: I like waffle knits + I like things in tan (especially when worn with red) + I like wool and cashmere + I like BCBG MAXAZRIA = getting the waffle knit in another color is sensible. Hopefully I will get an outfit pic with it soon! Hugs!

I have a Theory that Waffle Knits are a Timeless Staple

As promised before, here is a picture of my new BCBG waffle knit in action. This also happens to be a sneak peak look at a look for our next issue, seeing as I decided to wear it over a Theory dress. I really like elbow patches on it. Its one of those nice little details that I get excited to see every time. Sorry for such a short post, Jordan and I are getting ready for a shoot that you will see in the next issue. Hugs!

New In BCBG Waffle Knit

I was so excited to find out that the postman had brought me a package today. As I mentioned in my previous post BCBG Waffle Knit I ordered a new waffle knit from the BCBG sale (which is still going on at the moment). Luckily it came before Jordan and I headed back to the city. I'm going to try to take an outfit post by the end of the day. Sorry it has been so long, I haven't been feeling well.

BCBG Waffle Knit

If there are two things that I have developed a new found love for this A/W season they would definitely be waffle knits and the BCBG MAX AZRIA Group. When I learned earlier in the fall that these two things combined to make one wonderful sweater I was more than a little excited. I am not sure why I did not get it earlier, I think it had to do with my attempt to be responsible about making too many waffle knit/sweater additions to my wardrobe, but when I saw that BCBG currently giving an extra 20% off to all sale items online and in store I decided to give in and order it! Hopefully it comes before Jordan and I head back to the city! Also, If you have not done so already you should check their sale, so many lovely things! Hugs!

Right Now I'm Wearing...

This shirt that I picked up today while Jordan and I were on Melrose. It's so HxC right?? Not exactly... You would think it would make me feel a little dark and alt in that dirty Courtney Love sort of way (I guess you could call it rebellious or something), but that whole look honestly isn't my thing and I think Courtney Love is kind of depressing (if you are a CL fan please don't hate me for saying that). If anything I just feel a little colder than before, I still like it though!

New In: BCBG Max Azria Top & Zara Bottoms

Mariel Bennett and Jordan Romanoff @ Dress Me Mag
I had joked with Jordan about getting these pants and then ended up getting them a week or two ago while I was in SoHo. I really like the print on them, who would have thought? I paired them with a grey knit from BCBG Max Azria and my Cheap Monday wedges. Alright, time for class! Finals baby! Later!
