I wish these Nikes were cashmere

Top: Blood is the New Black // Bottoms: BCBG MAXAZRIA // Jacket: Cheap Monday // Bag: Gucci // Shoes: Nike // Hat: hand knit //

Before the whole sneaker trend either becomes extremely popular (if this is the case, then I will partially blame The Row and their sneaker collab with Superga, which like everything the Olsen's do is extremely cool… especially since their sneakers come in cashmere) or it goes away completely, I thought I should let everyone in on a fashion secret of mine: I used to collect Nikes and if you were to look in my closet at home like I did you will find them. I never intended on this becoming a secret, it only became one due to the fact that wearing sneakers without socks feels horrible but I wouldn't wear them any other way and I do not want to be someone who just collects clothing unless it is couture (and maybe some shoes that I never want touching the pavement). While I am not going to show you my collection, here is one pair. I wore them yesterday while Jordan and I were getting ready to leave for the city. We are back now, working and avoiding unpacking. And as a side note, PFW has been seriously witch house so far and I've decided that if I were doing a witch hunt to find the most LiLo inspired Fall 2012 look then I would settle for Karlie Kloss in Jean Paul Gaultier. I have no words to explain how I feel about this, I do not even think I have to. I will say that I think she totally beats Angelina Jolie on the whole leg thing. Miss you, love you, mean it later!

No. 21 Fall 2012

Source: Vogue

As I expected, No. 21's Fall 2012 collection was everything wonderful in terms of subtly chic. Designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua seemed to know just what he was doing when he decided on layering sheer and tweed garments, as the result was a sultry array of elegant, well-tailored, classic silhouettes. With only eight collections in total, No. 21 has been consistently minimalist and stylish and this collection was not even close to being an exception.

Herve Leger Presentation

As the lights dimmed and everyone took their position, models clad in classic Herve Leger bandage dresses, embellished with fringe, accentuated with harnesses, and completed with gladiator heels sauntered one by one down the runway to the dark and sensual sound of 'Equinox', which like the previous season's HL show music is a track by the anonymous and #cult DJ/producer Zomby. Unlike the BCBG MAXAZRIA show whose front row was full of celebrities, HL was filled with fashionistas and classic fashion week eccentrics. The feeling amongst the crowd was very personal and all very fashionable at the same time. The intimacy didn't stop at the catwalk in front of the 'Herve Leger' logo though, it felt as if you could walk backstage without anyone saying anything. Although the pieces were each stunning in their own right, the total feeling of the show was to be most remembered and adored. These garments hold the essence and purvey it to anyone who wasn't there. Click below to see more!

BCBG Max Azria Fall 2012 Presentation

Are you ready for all of this BCBG MAXAZRIA that we are about to throw your way? Here are the pictures that Jordan took while we were at the show. We made triptychs as a way of showing the motion of the garments in a static way (personally I am a little too A.D.D. for movies sometimes and prefer to see stills from shows). I love all of the sheer/fur/leather seen in this collection, it offers a sort of Great Gatsby vibe in that extremely chic and sophisticated way rather than in that resort collection sort of way.
