Santa Monica Outfit

We made unplanned visit to Santa Monica. I planned for it to be chilly but did not plan for the wind that would almost blow my dress up, my hat off and left my scarf flying all over the place. My scarf being my new 'not a poncho but not a shawl either' thing that I got from LF. I am a little obsessed with it right now. It got me through al of the cold nights and days in LA and was perfect for the plane ride back!

Dress: Ark & Co.; Bag: Prada; Hat: Urban Outfitters;

The Getty: day two part two

All photos by Jordan

On my second day I went with Jordan and his father to do some camera related errands. I now believe that most of LA is made out of camera related businesses. Jordan got some new lenses for his camera as a birthday gift. Later that day when we went to the Getty he got to test them out. I love the results. It is the same outfit as my last post but with a vintage denim shirt from Gap.

we have been at the LF in LA

Sorry I have not been blogging recently, after I got over being sick I headed to LA where there was little time to blog. I did take lots of photos for blog posts though! Jordan and I made it back to my home up North on Friday just before the hurricane scare hit the city. Now we are waiting for things to pass and on Tuesday we will head back to start our next term at school. Here are some pictures from my first full day in LA. Jordan and I walked over to the LF on Larchmont in the morning so I could shop the sale while it was still on. I picked up a few things that you will get to see soon!

Inspiration: pinks, blues, palm trees, clouds, L.A.

Inspiration: Black silhouettes of palm trees against highly saturated pinks or pastel clouds.

I get a completely We Are Handsome vibe from these images, they remind me especially of the WAH LA bathing suit that I love. I also cannot help but to think of Juicy Couture (secretly I love their clothes, they are so feminine and their children's clothing fits me perfectly... I won't lie I have a load of their velour tracksuits. Do not judge!).
I do not know why but it all makes me think of leopard print. It also makes me think of white. Here is the result:
Daytime look
Dress: H&M
Shirt: Gap Kids
Tracksuit top: Juicy Couture
Shoes: Elizabeth and James
Nighttime look
Dress: Juicy Couture
Vest: Bird by Juicy Couture
Leopard print leggings: mine
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Litas
