Vintage Shout Out

After shooting for BCBG's blog, Michael and Cliff Pershes went into their extensive vintage collection and put together a few more looks for us to shoot for StyleShoutOut.com. It was so much fun, and an interesting change of pace going from the BCBG exterior shots to these interiors. Some personal favorite items have to be the 1960's Adolfo velvet harem pants, and everything Claude Montana. Once again we had Andrew Yoon and Michal Czerwonka shooting for us. See clothing details and more on Style Shout Out.

Estate Side Photo Diary

Over the weekend Jordan and I headed up north to estate side. Before we left we decided we would do a shoot so we brought a suitcase with all of the looks, shoes, accessories, cameras, etc. The first night was spent wandering around outside as the sun went down looking for places to shoot. Like most of the time spent outside, this adventure resulted in an outfit shoot. My outfit consisted of a top from Free People, grey shorts, and a pair of a size too big Doc Martins that my Father had put in my room for me. He had texted me to tell me earlier in the week to tell me that he had found them so I was excited to try them on. They are just as big and clunky as I imagined. They are perfect for wandering around outside. The next day we did the shoot. We were lucky enough to be able to shoot with the same model that we shot with last time I went estate side, and the photographer from the previous shoot even shot our last look (you will read about them in the next issue)! Jordan shot the other outfits (and David Biral even took a few shots. We are so lucky!) and everything looks amazing! I am excited to see both shoots in the upcoming issues. A big thanks to everyone who was involved!

Other pictures from Monday

Non outfit related pictures from Monday include Jordan on our walk back to the West Village. The Flowers that he got for the shoot. We bought them at this little flower shop that I love. It is outside a bodega on 6th and 2nd ave. The lady makes the most beautiful little arrangements, this is a close favorite of mine. The pink and the green I love. I think she uses lemon leaf too, which smells so nice. I was excited that we picked up new flowers but carrying them arount the city was slightly embarrassing, I think everyone thought we were on a first date. A copy of Elle I picked up on the way back (which felt a little weird seeing as I never buy the American version of Elle or any other version... with the exception of a recent purchase of the UK version...) and when we got back I decided that I should organize some of the magazines that were lying around.
